Why did there have to be the whole killing fat women plot point, and why did there have to be so damn many fat chick remarks?

Especially since that fucking librarian wasn’t in any way overweight. I mean if you’re gonna go that route, at least cast some one who really stands out as being overweight.

She’s not model thin, but she’s not what many people would consider overweight. As far as I can tell, she has a pretty average figure. I mean she’s hot, don’t get me wrong. I just mean her general shape/size is a common one.

She’s just wearing an ill-fitting cardigan, man.

So, all of that bothered me. But hey, if they were gonna have that plot point at all, at least they gave the girl a smoking hot boyfriend. Check that dude out.

Even if they did have Lucifer go and call him a chubby-chaser.

Seriously? This girl is about my size or smaller, and I was not the least bit offended by this. It was a “Killing women” plot point, not a “killing fat women” plot point. Even if her weight played a major factor, do you know why it is? Because the demon was training Jeffery to be a serial killer. And, if you are like me and frequent discovery ID, you’d realize that serial killers have a type, a “safe zone” if you will, and that demon would be going after the people it’d expect would be most likely to drag Jefferey over to it’s side. 

The women they kill off in this show, 99.99% of the time are skinny and super-modely…and no one ever complains that the show has a “killing skinny women” theme. 

Also, Lucifer called him a chubby-chaser? So what. It’s Lucifer. Did you really expect that the devil would give a shit about being nice? He’s an asshole. It kind of comes with the territory. 

Oh for fuck’s sake. I know what serial killers are like. I know they have a type. I never said that the entire show had a killing fat chicks theme. One plot point. A small piece of a great episode. I talk about not liking that part, because I didn’t like seeing those comments.

I never expected Satan to be nice. That doesn’t mean I have to like it. Just because you weren’t offended doesn’t make my reaction to it any less valid.

I’m larger than this woman. Being in better shape and closer to her weight is something I am working on, although I’m healthy at my current weight. So it’s frustrating for me to see comments made in the media about her body type or anyone thinner than I am as being fat or overweight.

Also, what’s with the calm down bro gif? It’s not like I was being in any way hysterical…

I know Lucy is a asshole. That’s why I took it as that’s how he’s supposed to be and everything. But seriously, she’s not overweight at all. If they wanted to remark about Jeffery’s / The demons / serial killers habit of targeting the bigger girls..they didn’t need to refer to it three times in the span of less than by guess - three mins. Chubby chaser, big girls, fat Betty.

Once would have been enough to drive the point home of what he targets. 

I’m going to have to agree with fancyraptor. He/She said everything I wanted to say-and I mean everything, I’m chubby as well- but I didn’t want to annoy my followers with it. I seriously don’t understand why people are getting upset about this. It’s exactly like Fancyraptor said, the show had all these model esque women who nine times out of ten modeled for pictures before or after SPN and no one said anything about SPN killing off skinny women, non just that they were killing women and those close to Sam and Dean. What is the big deal now that they have a serial killer who killed plus sized women? I saw a person say they lost a bit of respect for Edlund as if it was his intent to promote insults towards plus sized women. What is with this double standard that people are stepping in? No one says anything about there only ever being skinny women in the show, and when I saw people do it, it was rare. Now there is an episode where plus sized women are in it-even as the victim- and all of a sudden it’s not “equal opportunity” it’s “How dare you insult plus sized women?!”

Fandom, what is this? I am just completely perplexed there so many people are upset over something someone of my size would say they were upset by. Because of it, I feel that the people who are complaining are her size or smaller and it irritates me because I am 200 and some odd pounds, not offended, and don’t understand why people are.
